Aluminum Profile "H3" Is one of our most popular corner mounted aluminum housings for LED tape. The light is emitted at a 45 degree angle making it an excellent solution for under-cabinet, task and retail lighting applications. Aluminum Profile "H3" is extruded from high-quality aluminum and anodized for added corrosion protection. It maximizes the lifetime of your LED strips by dissipating excess heat. When paired with one of our DOTLESS, high density LED strips, Aluminum Profile "H3" can be used to create dot-free LED lighting. Aluminum Profile "H3" can be used in exterior applications: around the soffit of a home to "wash" the walls with light. Aluminum Profile "H3" can accommodate any LED strip up to 0.47"(11.9mm) wide. Aluminum Profile "H3" is conveniently sold in 8ft lengths as a completed kit including one pair of endcaps and a choice of one premium UV resistant clear or frosted diffuser (lens). Installation

Install in minutes with easy snap-and-go clips. Aluminum housing "H3" comes with (3) mounting clips. Simply install clips onto your desired surface with screws and quickly snap your LED aluminum housing into place.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
