Aluminum Profile "U" 94in High-Output Capable

Aluminum Profile "U" is a high-output corner(surface) mounted housing for LED strips. It features a quarter-circle lens which emits light at a 90 degree spread. It's high-output capacity makes it an excellent solution for retail and display lighting applications. When mounted at a distance from a wall, it can also be used for "wall washing" lighting designs. Aluminum Profile "U" can accommodate any high-output LED strip up to 0.80 Inch (20.3mm) wide and can be installed with mounting clips or screwed directly into the mounting surface. Applications

Aluminum Channel "U" is a popular lighting solution for both indoor and outdoor use. Indoors it can be used for high-output task lighting, retail lighting, and under-cabinet lighting. It can be used for high-output cove lighting, as well as lighting around a soffit. The tight fitting lens protects your LED strips from direct exposure to the elements when used outdoors. Use with waterproof LED strips for best result.

Installation

Install in minutes by simply screwing your channel to the desired surface using counter-sunk holes, and then attaching the LED strip and lens.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
